Explore Kings Canyon's Scenic Kings Creek Walk

For a fee of $10 AUD, visitors can explore one of the three trails at Kings Canyon, including the Kings Creek Walk, which I documented in my photo report. Best to purchase a ticket before you make your way there, as network is not so strong. This easy, Grade 2 trail spans 2.6 kilometers and takes less than an hour to complete. It features mostly flat terrain, but stairs lead to a lookout point at the end. The walk meanders along the riverbed between towering canyon walls, providing a scenic experience. Starting from the car park, the trail is well-marked and accessible for wheelchair users with some assistance for the first 700 meters. The journey culminates at a raised platform offering breathtaking canyon views before you return to the car park via the same route.

While driving, you frequently think you've spotted a wild animal in the distance, only to realize it's just a dead plant. When viewed closely, it's unmistakably clear, but from afar, it could easily resemble kangaroo ears. I may come to regret sharing this line of thought later.

The Rim Walk begins close the parking area, ascending approximately 500 steep steps known as 'Heartbreak Hill.' (to be clear, I only took a photo of these stairs..)
