Our visit to Kyoto, Osaka and Naoshima
Our recent journey to Japan was nothing short of perfect. I made a deliberate choice to leave my digital camera at home, bringing only my analog cameras instead. This decision was all about staying present—while I love the instant gratification of digital photography, I knew it would have me constantly snapping away, missing moments in favor of capturing them. The analog approach forced me to be more intentional with each shot.
We explored three incredible destinations: Kyoto, Osaka, and Naoshima. Each place left us speechless—the warmth of the people, the extraordinary food, and the stunning architecture all combined to create an unforgettable experience. More than once, I found myself thinking, "I could actually live here."
What struck me most was Japan's remarkable cleanliness and the genuine politeness of its people. The natural beauty everywhere we looked was breathtaking. This trip truly felt like a dream come true.
I'm still in the process of developing most of my film rolls, so I'll be sharing those analog treasures in future posts. Sometimes the best memories are worth the wait.
