Oberon, Blue Mountains: Dog-Friendly Camping at Aurora
Our recent long weekend at Aurora-Exclusive through Hipcamp showcased why the Blue Mountains offer some of Australia's most spectacular dog-friendly camping adventures. Just two hours from Sydney, this spectacular 150-acre property near Oberon offered everything we needed for the perfect outdoor getaway—breathtaking escarpment views, complete privacy, and space for our four-legged companion to explore safely. With our trusty Yeti cooler packed and Mountain Horse Devon boots laced up, we discovered a secluded paradise where kangaroos wandered freely through our campsite and star-filled evenings were spent around a crackling campfire. This Blue Mountains camping experience proves that sometimes the best holidays happen when you disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature's raw beauty.
